Canada the first to launch savings plan for persons with disabilitiesPlanning for the future recently got that much easier for individuals with a disability. The new Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP for short) released this past fall is the first of its kind in the world, let alone in North America. This plan proposed by the non-profit organization PLAN (Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network) will assist the disability community tremendously in planning financial security for both adults as well as children who have a disability.
