Our clients are people of all ages and backgrounds, with single or multiple barriers to employment. Our involvement ranges from providing self-directed job-search resources and information to intensive personalized consultation for job placement and career planning. We also offer skill-building workshops, training and educational options, links to further community programs and resources, and access to assistive technologies.
Employer services include job placements, assessing jobs and worksites for diversity-readiness, facilitating staff seminars on disability issues, preparing workplace environments to accommodate disability, assistance in developing recruitment and retention strategies, connecting employers with further resources, and supporting people with disabilities in their new roles, ensuring their success.
Our new, innovative EmployAbilities Career and Employment Centre (ECEC) houses a complete suite of services and resources for clients and employers alike in one convenient and accessible site.
Client or employer needs and goals direct our involvement, and our services are individualized, flexible, responsive to changes in circumstances and provided at no cost.
